Nora Alshaikh

Contemporary Artist
Painting the suspended space between memory, identity, and becoming
Select Works
Nora Alshaikh is a contemporary artist whose work examines displacement, identity, and the emotional residue of migration. Rooted in personal experience, her practice explores the space between past and future, memory and becoming—where belonging remains unresolved.
Through painting, Alshaikh investigates the unfinished body as a site of resistance, using fragmentation and incompletion to reflect the psychological realities of transition. Her work engages with time as an internal structure, translating lived experience into visual narratives that resist closure and assimilation.
